Intelligence at the heart of every journey

Electric and hybrid technologies engineered to combine performance, safety and efficiency.

GEA PLATFORM – GLOBAL INTELLIGENT ELECTRIC ARCHITECTURE

GEA combines safety, versatility, and electrified technologies within a single technical foundation.

Electric mode: driving without combustion engine

When 100% electric mode is active, the vehicle uses solely the energy stored in the battery to move. The combustion engine does not intervene in propulsion.

Hybrid mode: coordinated management of both powertrains

In hybrid mode, the system distributes effort between the electric motor and the combustion engine. This management considers speed, power demand, and battery charge level.

Power mode: both motors engaged simultaneously

When stronger acceleration is demanded, the system can operate both the electric motor and the combustion engine at the same time.

Combining both energy sources provides a more sustained response, particularly for merging, overtaking, or decisive acceleration.

Reinforced safety cell

A body designed to better distribute impacts

The high-strength structure of the GEA architecture enhances the vehicle's overall rigidity. In a collision, impact forces are routed toward multiple body zones rather than concentrated on a single point.

Multi-directional shock absorption

Multi-directional shock absorption

Better energy control during a frontal impact

The tri-directional absorption system distributes mechanical stress across multiple structural paths. According to information published by Geely, this design achieves 60% force distribution efficiency.

CTB technology reinforces battery protection

CTB technology, or 'Cell-to-Body', directly integrates the battery pack into the vehicle structure. The battery thus becomes a contributing element to overall rigidity. A reinforced honeycomb frame protects the cells, while an additional buffer zone helps absorb energy in an impact. This integration combines battery protection with vehicle design optimization. This layout aims to reduce the amount of energy transmitted directly to the cabin during a frontal impact.

Geely E-Drive 11-in-1

The Geely E-Drive is built on a 400-volt electrical architecture integrating eleven functions into a compact unit of 72 liters and 79.8 kg. Its maximum efficiency reaches 90.04%, with announced energy consumption from 11.9 kWh/100 km. Thanks to oil cooling, it maintains performance during repeated accelerations, with 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds. The G-TCS traction control reacts within milliseconds and was tested under extreme conditions ranging from −35°C to +60°C.

Geely Short Blade Battery

The Geely Short Blade battery uses shorter cells to enhance integration and efficiency. Geely reports a 5.5% reduction in internal resistance and 6.7% higher energy density. Performance is also said to improve in cold weather, with 8.7% greater energy retention and an average charge up to 52% faster. In an eight-needle penetration test, no fire or explosion occurred.
